Why that Passage from Of Plymoth Plantation Impressed Me

This passage impressed me because it gave me a glance at the thought process of these Puritan men. After all the hardships they had worked hard to endure on the Mayflower the one thing they had to say about it was praise the Lord and may He protect us forever and I cant wait to tell my kids about this. It was a really interesting insight and thats the reason it impressed me.

  1. it could be interesting and impressing that that would be all they would say. But then again God is really important to Puritans and all they want to do is please God and give him all the praise, for they wouldnt have been able to get through the hardships without him, like you said they have a neverending reverance to God. He gives them strength to do things, and that is how they lived. Great job.
